Assyrian author, Rosie Malek-Yonan's articles, books and essays seem to be hitting a raw nerve with Turks in regards to issues of the Assyrian Genocide perpetrated by Ottoman Turks between 1914-1918. A century old denial of these crimes on the part of today's Turkish government is at the core of these retaliatory attacks on Assyrian websites.
