Tribune Co plans to sell the Newsday daily newspaper on Long Island to News Corp (NWSa.N) for about $580 million, The Wall Street Journal reported online on Monday, citing sources familiar with the situation.

April 22, 2008 at 09:11 AM Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Online Beta has been postponed. The Beta was scheduled to launch yesterday, the 21st of April but extraordinary levels of traffic from all over the world have caused the MGO Beta servers to destabilize meaning the service has been unable to run.
